Below you will find our company terms and conditions:-

01. Orders

By ticking the box that confirms you have read and agree to be bound by our Conditions of Sale, you are making an offer to purchase the Product(s), which you have specified in your shopping basket. All orders are subject to acceptance by Signature Online Limited. Within 1 working day of our receipt of your order, you will receive a confirmation of your order by email, along with your order reference number. This number should be retained for future reference. Any acceptance of your order by Signature Online Limited is subject to these conditions of sale and to the availability of stock.

Signature Online Limited reserves the right to withdraw any Products from the Website Shop and may, in its sole discretion, refuse to process an order for any reason at any time. Without prejudice to your statutory rightsas a consumer, Signature Online Limited will not be liable to you or a third party by reason of Signature Online Limited withdrawing any Product or refusing to process any order.

02. Availability

Sunday Papers are rare; if your date is a Sunday then a £20.00 surcharge applies.

Our Newspaper archives hold papers for the vast majority of dates (Monday to Saturday editions) going back well over a hundred years. In rare instances, we may not be able to locate a paper when we come to pick it, even though our stock sheets show availability. Where this is the case, we will inform you of this by email and will give you the option of selecting another date or cancelling your order.

Where you choose to cancel your order, any sum debited by Signature Online Limited from your credit card will be re-credited to your account and Signature Online Limited will notify you of this by email at the email address which you provide in your order form. The refund will be made as soon as possible and, in any event, within 30 days of the date of your cancellation of your order.

03. Price and Payment

All prices are quoted in £ sterling. Delivery charges may apply and are as laid out on the Delivery Details. Except in the case of manifest error, the prices payable for Products that you order are as set out on the Website at the time at which you place your order.

Payment may be made using a wide selection of credit and debit cards. You confirm that the credit/debit card which is being used is yours. Your credit/debit card details will be transmitted via the web to a secure server. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. Signature Online Limited reserves the right to refuse credit card payments in its reasonable discretion.

04. Description of Products

The Products depicted in the Website Shop are as seen. The reproduction of colours and styles are as accurate as photographic and image processing will allow. Signature Online Limited does not accept responsibility for slight variances in colour and style.

05. Cancellation and Returns

No Quibbles Guarantee

Our ‘no quibbles’ guarantee means that if, for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, i.e. the item you have ordered is defective, the wrong date or you have simply changed your mind then, provided that it is in its original condition, and the packaging has not been personalised, you can return it to us for prompt replacement or refund within 30 days of delivery.

Returns

If you want to return an item, simply email us at info@remember-when.co.uk, indicating which item(s) and the number of items to be returned, your reason for returning the item, and whether you are seeking a replacement (in which case state the date of the edition you want) or refund. We also ask you to give us a daytime contact telephone number. If the item is returnable under our Returns Policy terms and conditions, we will issue you with a returns address and a Returns Authorisation Code. You must obtain a Returns Authorisation Code before sending anything back to us or we will not otherwise be able to process your Return.

Defective Items

If you return an item because of an error on our part, or because it is defective, we will happily refund your costs in returning it to us. The item(s) must be returned in the condition in which you received it within 30 days of delivery.

Change of Mind

Products returned to us because you have changed your mind must be in perfect re-saleable condition, and must be returned within 30 days of delivery. We therefore cannot accept a return if the packaging has beenpersonalised and the order has been fulfilled correctly.

Please note: that item(s) returned to us for reasons not due to our error or defective Product(s) will not have return postage/shipping costs refunded.

Lost in Transit

We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit: as you are responsible for returning the items to us, we recommend sending the packages by Recorded/Special delivery.

Refunds and Replacements

For item(s) returned to us within 30 days of delivery with the appropriate Returns Authorisation Code and in accordance with these terms and conditions, a refund or replacement will be processed by Signature Online Limited within 14 working days of receipt of the returned items. A refund will be made in the same form of payment that was used to make the initial purchase. If you would like a Replacement, this will be to your original product specification (e.g. Gift Box) as detailed on your original order, but please specify the date of the paper you require in your email to us.

06. Delivery

Signature Online Limited will deliver the Products ordered by you to the address, which you give for delivery when you make your order. You may specify a delivery address which is different from your invoice address, if, for example, you would like Signature Online Limited to deliver the Products directly to a friend, a relative, or to your place of work.

Signature Online Ltd uses a range of carriers to fulfill deliveries. This enables our service to continue unaffected, for example, during industrial action.

Delivery charges may apply and are as laid out on the Delivery Details.

If you do not receive Products ordered by you within 28 days of the date on which you ordered them, Signature Online Limited shall have no liability to you unless you notify Signature Online Limited by email at info@remember-when.co.uk of the problem within 40 days of the date on which you ordered the Products.

Unless you have cancelled your order prior to delivery, you will become the owner of the Products once they have been delivered to you. In any case, after delivery they will be held at your own risk and Signature Online Limited will not be liable for any loss, damage or destruction to the Products except insofar as it arises from an inherent defect in any of the Products.

07. Liability

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Signature Online Limited‘s maximum liability to you arising by reason of or in connection with the supply of the Products to you shall be limited to the amount paid by you in respect of the Products in question ("Payment Amount").

Signature Online Limited shall not in any event be liable to you for:.

1. 1) any direct loss; Or
2. 2) any loss of profits, business or anticipated savings or loss of or corruption of data or any indirect loss or consequential loss what so ever even if it has been advised of the possibility of such loss. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Nothing in these conditions of sale shall exclude or limit the liability of Signature Online Limited for death or personal injury due to its negligence or for its fraud. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Please see our Privacy Policy for details of the information which we hold about you and the uses to which that information will be put.

09. Force Majeure

Signature Online Limited shall have no liability to you for any delay or failure to deliver the Products to the extent that such delay or failure to deliver arises from causes beyond the reasonable control of Signature Online Limited including, but not limited to, fire, floods, acts of God, acts or regulations of any governmental or supranational authority, war, riot, strike, lock-out and industrial disputes.

10. Waiver

No waiver by us shall be construed as a waiver of any rights or remedies, or any subsequent breach of any provision of these Conditions of Sale.

11. Entire Agreement

These Conditions of Sale, together with the Terms of Use, Returns Policy, current Product prices, delivery details and contact details on this Website, set out the whole of the agreement between you and Signature Online Limited. Signature Online Limited‘s employees or agents are not authorised to make any representations concerning the Products unless confirmed in writing by Signature Online Limited. You confirm that you do not rely on, and waive any claims for breach of, any such representations, which are not so confirmed.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

04. When does this Privacy Policy not apply?

This Privacy Policy only applies to the collection and use of data by Signature Online Limited. It does not cover third party sites to which we may provide links (like SecureTrading (ST) who manage our secure online payment systems for us) nor does it cover advertisers and content partners within our service who may also collect your personal information. They may have their own privacy policies.

Delivery options

Signature Online Limited will deliver the Products ordered by you to the address, which you give for delivery when you make your order. You may specify a delivery address which is diffesrent from your invoice address, if, for example, you would like Signature Online Limited to deliver the Products directly to a friend, a relative, or to your place of work.

Signature Online Ltd uses a range of carriers to fulfill deliveries. This enables our service to continue unaffected, for example, during industrial action.

Order to delivery normally takes 3 working days for an un-personalised soft back book or 7 for personalised products, although at peak times such as Christmas delivery may take a day or two longer. P&P is charged per order regardless of size - so 2nd or more products on a single order go FREE! The standard delivery charge is £4.95 for UK deliveries, £20.00 for EU and £25 for other International destinations. For UK orders (only) a ‘Special Delivery‘ option is available for £9.95, which will reduce delivery time by up to 2 days (ie 1 - 5 working days depending on product).

Please Note:

1. 1) Newspaper books and urgent deliveries are generally sent via a 'sign-for' service.
2. 2) If your delivery is via our courier service they are unable to deliver to PO boxes in the UK or at International locations.
